New Feature: “Copy Image” Option for QR Codes
A new option is now available: QR codes can be copied directly to the clipboard for quick insertion into documents, emails, or messages. This feature supports PNG, JPG, and SVG formats on most modern browsers. Use the “Copy” button after generating a QR code to take advantage of this convenience.
June 21, 2025This tool is designed primarily for publishers, featuring a simple and straightforward QR code layout. It can be used in a variety of theocratic settings, including public ministry (such as letter writing), personal study notes, and other activities where QR codes are useful. You can also use it to share organizational content with fellow publishers or to promote the official website in your own way.
How to Use
To generate your QR code, follow these steps:
- Go to jw.org® (or other organizational website), and copy the URL—either from the share feature or your browser’s address bar.
- Paste the copied URL into the input box on this page.
- Click Next and enter a file name to help you identify the QR code.
- Click Generate QR Code to create your image.
- After a few moments, the QR code will appear in the preview section.
- In the “Download QR Code” section, select your desired image size. (Choose a larger size for posters or signs; use a smaller size for labels or notes. Using the wrong size can affect QR code image quality.)
- Select your preferred file type. (Descriptions are provided for each format.)
- Click Download to save the QR code image, or Copy Image to place it on your clipboard for use in other documents.
- Use the Back button to revisit previous steps, or Reset to start over.
